Summer has a reputation for helping life to slow down, but we find that in reality, it does the opposite.  Now that the summer craziness is winding down and kids are back in school, we wanted to get everyone in the network together for a “reunion” before the nice weather is gone.

We met this evening at an area park for some fellowship, worship and preaching.  It was nice just to be together, and especially to get to know folks in other house churches, while watching our kids play.  It was also nice to break out the guitars and worship the Lord together, and to hear from Marty about how we as the church are called to love one another, and to allow ourselves to be loved deeply.

Now that we feel back in the swing of things, we plan to have regular monthly reunions.  Please pray for us as we learn to really live life together and love one another deeply, and as we ask God for the souls of our neighbors and friends.
