Good Friday became GREAT Friday for one woman in our new church – she gave her heart to Jesus!  Here’s her story.

Bob and Lynn started visiting churches together but nothing seemed to fit.  Lynn heard from her friend, Crystal, that she was starting a new church in their home.  So they came to visit one time and things just felt right.  They were welcomed, befriended, and their questions were encouraged.  In Lynn’s words, “It just felt good to go, ya know, something in my heart… it just felt good.  I don’t know how to explain it.”

Lynn told me, “At the Stone’s MiniChurch we started going through the bible, talking about it, and really learning about it.  It changed the way I thought about the direction I was going and the things I was doing, the relationships I had with people…”

On Good Friday, Bob and Lynn came to CCWC’s experiential worship event where they read and learned about Christ’s sacrifice for us.  ”It was amazing to me.  It really pushed me to realize that following Jesus is what I want to do and where I want to be.  So I decided to follow Jesus.  Walking out of the church, I felt like something was lifted… a weight lifted off my shoulders.”
